What is the right time to start a new company?

hello frenz
well i was in this dilemma at some point of time..and today few of my juniors are in...
every1 of us at some stage must have thought of starting a new firm. Now the problem is when u r in a professional course. Is it advisable to start it as soon as u pass out or go ahead for ur post graduate studies so that it will help u carry out additional research that is required on the ventures u wud set out with??
The 2nd debatable issue is "Is MBA or MS gud for leading a technical company?"
What i feel is, we dont need an MBA degree, but rather a grip on the subject +sum experience

What do u guyz say?shud i advise my juniors to start working on setting up their dream company or shud i advise them to continue their studies??
and yet again..ur opnion matters...

The right time is NOW! Seriously it is about taking the risks. Once you get into a stable job, have a family, its just too difficult to leave everything and start your company.

i agree with sasanks. its your take completely. every one begins when with an idea. sunil mittal-touchpad phones, bill gates-BASIC programming. never read bout dhiru. if you know do share.

Well
thanx frenz for ur valuable ideas..
After spending some time on this..even i came to the decision that one shud kickstart with the ideas he/she has and make it a big success.May be abother Bill Gates or Dhiru..

Well...I am of the opinion that it's all about minimizing risks.

Now,the word 'risk' may mean different to different people.
But the bottom line is if u feel u have the balls , then go ahead and crack the show.

So far as MS or MBA issue is concerned, how smart u r in making use of what u have learnt is more important than juts holding a degree. Knowledge no doubt is the most important substance, but then how effectively n smartly u use it in ur business plan makes the difference.
